The alias would then be created to point to the tuv-wxyz userid, and the alias should be of type "-t misc" to put it into the appropriate database. In a window other than postmaster at the prompt type:

uvadb -a userid -e userid@full.computername.virginia.edu

Remember that all ids and addresses are specified in lowercase letters by postmaster.
