| 199.111.xxx.xxx IP addresses were once part of VERNet (Virginia Education Research Network), which was managed by U.Va. All VERNet sites are now independent, but because of fees required by Internic for releasing the IP addresses from U.Va. and registering them with their new contact information, U.Va. continues to be listed in Internic records for these sites. The site name/IP address information we have is old but often accurate. The information is in the file: net.199.111 on the upostmst account on the mailhub. If the reported IP address is 199.111.122.xxx, you can use grep to find the appropriate contact, by grepping for the 122, as in: grep 122 net.199.111 which would, for this number, produce: 199.111.122.0 Norfolk State University postmaster@nsu.edu Not all entries have email contact addresses; if an email contact address does not appear, you may want to guess a web URl to see if you can locate a contact address for the site. If you find a contact address, please add it to the file for the site. For abuse, we usually notify the reporter that their message needs to be directed to another site, provide them the contact address for the other site, and tell them that we will redirect their report to the contact address.
