This page, and others in my UVA account are created to support the work I do, generate examples for people I'm assisting and provide a browser and platform-independent jumping off point for pages I find interesting.n test
This is a test of an on-line live help system I'm investigating which comes from Crafty Syntax Free, configurable, but on www.people a little slow. (currently links to a different UVA site). Also a test of the AIM widget available to put an aim connection on the page.
Please provide your identification in the first message you send with the AIM widget - it does not send with your AIM id.
Professional Information: In addition to a brief summary of what I do, the Professional Information link includes information on Professional society memberships and mailing lists that I find useful.
Current Projects: In addition to specific duties related to my job, ITC functions with a ever-changing set of Cross-Division Projects to plan for orderly changes of our systems and develop new solutions.
Example Sites: Some of the confusion in setting up password protected web sites, easymail/easyform and location restricted sites can be removed if you see one set up. This is a set of links and explainations for sites available in /home/mjs/public_html viewable by anyone with an account on blue.unix.virignia.edu, holmes.acc.virginia.edu, jm.acs.virginia.edu, minerva.acs.virginia.edu.
