I. Corrections to minutes from last meeting on April 28, 2003?

II. Old Business:

• Birch Cluster: rollout fine. Recovery from last week's crash. Possibility of getting second/backup frontend?
• Aspen Cluster Downtime for kernel upgrade and hard drive addition- Hamp said need they'd need a day of downtime. Would July 16th work?
• AIX SMP box downtime - to upgrade to AIX 5.1 or 5.2 and PBSPro in July. Our RS/6000 "athena" is ready to go to Carruthers to be front end.
• E-School Linux cluster rollout progress report and setup/configuration.
• VPN and IP Filtering for FlexLM license daemons. Several vendors are now requiring it, not just ESRI.
• Ansys 7 install started mid-May, estimated completion? Combining licenses with Robert Hull and splitting cost.
• Network Security of Workstations in Unix Labs: Unix Systems testing SMBClient and installing SecureNFS or IPSEC on NetApp. When is it scheduled? Is rollout of this something we should announce?
• SP Migration - Sending out e-mail to all SP users this week. Every contact with an SP users gets them a reminder to migrate.
