 Check for relevant Action Items from previous meetings for each agenda item.

• Research Computing engines.
  • Update on PBS Portable Batch System (PBS) testing on orange (SUN) cluster. Teal cluster will have PBS and allow interactive logon with "round-robin" assignment.
    What are remaining questions/issues for rollout of Orange and Teal clusters?
  • (ToDo:Tim T.) Generate and circulate via e-mail list of possible items (hardware and software) for research computing funds (approximately $250K).

• SP
  • Parallel queues; investigation of creation of half-hour queues.
  • Hamp: Changing load limit above 1 to allow only one serial job, and a parallel job could get that node even if a serial jobs running on it.

• HSM
  • Decommission Maggie's drives: Check for "stranded" files.

• SAS installed on Orange cluster.
