The cross-divisional project model helps a lot to get fully developed products provided and supported. But boy, does it take a lot of time and effort in meetings. But, to be honest, the amount of work doesn't change, just the timing.
I'm on the following project teams:
Micro Unix Support: Leading the project, figuring out what our baseline of support is, getting a head's up of what we need to be developing staff to support in the future.
Linux: Planning basic support for Linux via ITC.
UWADE: Unix/Web database support.
NTWEB: NT/Web database support.
Email update: Simeon support from the manufacturer is going away. What's next, and what about a webmail solution.
CSS: Computing Survival Skills training program.
